Municipal Undertaking for Social Service Buildings
The Municipal Undertaking for Social Service Buildings of Oslo (Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF) is a public enterprise established in 2004.
As an owner, manager and developer of municipal facilities, Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF applies business principles as a basis within the appropriate framework to municipal operations, while contributing to premium quality on public and social services.
The primary mandate includes a wide range of buildings and facility services to support the elderly, children, people with special care needs, health services and public arts and culture establishments.
Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF is owned by the City of Oslo and has its own board appointed by the City Council. Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF is also subordinated to the Department of Finance and Business Development in the municipal administration system.
